Sovereign to Immortality Chapter 6: A Chilling Dagger

Proofread by Liang Yaping

“Hahahahaha…”

The teenagers from Tuqiu Village saw Zhang Huzi fall heavily and laughed outrageously. Especially, Xu Lei took delight in seeing Zhang make a show of himself.

Yang Junping also cheered, not because of Zhang Huzi’s misery, but for the success of his older brother, and shouted, “Wow, my brother won! 50 stone coins and two yellow-jade fruits! We won!”

“This time doesn’t count. One more time!”

Because they were only twelve or thirteen years old, the two yellow-jade fruits and fifty stone coins were enough to make them regret enormously. Before Zhang Huzi stood up from the ground, one of the four playmates who followed him shouted.

Then others followed him and shouted, “Fight again! Fight again!”

Yang Qianhai and Yang Baoliang broke out into curses, “You wanna go back on your words! Shame on you!”

Yang Junping jumped up and down and shouted directly at several young people who watched the battle, “Look, Zhang Huzi and his fellows eat their words!”

Yang Junshan watched Zhang Huzi stand up from the ground, spit out a mouthful of mud, and looked at Yang Junshan angrily.

“What do you say, Zhang Huzi?”

The crowd fixed their eyes on Zhang Huzi, who roared and pounced on Yang Junshan again.

The four playmates behind him saw that Zhang Huzi was going to fight, and immediately shouted and rushed over, trying to defeat Yang Junshan’s group.

Yang Qianhai and Yang Baoliang immediately rolled up their sleeves to help in punching. Though Yang Junping was the youngest, he was the smartest boy. He took out a slingshot from his clothes, picked up a stone from the ground and shot it at the man who ran in front of the other opponents.

It was absolutely accurate at such a close distance. When the stone hit his forehead, he got a purple bump on the forehead. The pain made the guy cry painfully, with tears trickling down.

With Yang Qianhai taking advantage of the opportunity to punch, the boy covered his bloody nose and fell on the ground.

But at this time another guy took the opportunity to bend down and rush over to hold Yang Qianhai’s waist, and both of them rolled over to the ground together.

On the other side, Yang Baoliang also fought with a boy, and the boy with nosebleeds and tears shouted, crying, looked annoyed, ran towards Yang Junping in a miserable way.

Yang Junping ran faster. Before the boy arrived, he had already run far away, and shot a stone, but this time the boy dodged it by rolling and hiding.

Seeing the battle on the threshing floor turned into a scramble, the teenagers in the village who watched the battle cheered. Xu Lei held up two money bags in his hands and shouted, “We don’t care the scramble, but Zhang Huzi was defeated by Yang Junshan just now. We all saw it, so the two money bags should belong to Yang Junshan. Now I take care of them. When they finish, I will return the two bags to Yang Junshan.”

Xu Lei was very unhappy because of Zhang Huzi’s hesitation. But at this time, he watched the scramble between Zhang and Yang, and decided not to help Yang Junshan. It was chivalrous enough of him to keep the money for Yang. After all, in this scramble, Yang Junshan and his men were more likely to fail, by then he himself would have to face Zhang Huzi and his companions if they acted shamelessly.

But Xu Lei was not a bit afraid as he was accompanied by several playmates and his cultivation was even much higher than Zhang Huzi’s. Besides, Zhang Huzi’s group would be exhausted even if they won the battle.

As Xu Lei weighed the whole matter in his mind, Yang Junshan was fighting against Zhang Huzi and one of his companions at the same time.

Both of them had already tested the spiritual acupoints and started to practice, and besides Zhang Huzi, the other’s cultivation should be the highest one among them.

Yang Junshan had thought that with the experience of his previous life, he could easily handle the fight with these teenagers.

However, Yang Junshan forgot that he was only a twelve-year-old boy, and it was inadvisable to judge a person by common sense after he entered the path of cultivation. Although Yang Junshan had controlled Zhang Huzi’s veins with one move, the nimbus in Zhang Huzi’s body rebounded on him and that made Yang Junshan’s fingers painful. Yang Junshan’s cultivation at this time was too far from Zhang Huzi’s.

What was more, Yang Junshan faced two people at this time. Although Zhang Huzi was beaten by Yang before, he did not get any injury. The only advantage was that Zhang Huzi obviously lost his composure at this time. He only knew how to beat Yang Junshan blindly, and wanted to knock Yang Junshan down to the ground and punch Yang.

Yang Junshan turned away and let Zhang Huzi break his balance. Although Zhang Huzi tried to keep his figure steady and did not fall down, he was also stumbled three feet away by Yang Junshan. Another companion of Zhang Huzi took the opportunity to punch Yang Junshan on the back.

Yang Junshan had tried to dodge, but when he dumped Zhang Huzi, he was also stagnated by the force on Zhang Huzi’s body. The punch behind him really hit his shoulder.

Yang Junshan was painful, contorting his face in agony. Zhang Huzi’s companion had obviously begun to practice. Although his spiritual acupoints were not so good as Zhang Huzi’s, his strength was not lower than Yang Junshan’s. If Yang Junshan’s Crude Bull Boxing was not strong enough, it would make Yang Junshan fall.

When the companion behind him saw that he had hit Yang Junshan with a punch and Yang had fallen two steps, he immediately stretched out his hands to hold Yang in his arms.

Unexpectedly, Yang Junshan seemed to have anticipated that already. When he fell forward, he suddenly stretched out his legs and pushed backward. He firmly kicked Zhang Huzi’s companion’s belly.

The companion bent down with a loud cry, and his face began to twist with an enormous pain.

Zhang Huzi on the side rushed up again, however, Yang Junshan didn’t spare any attention to him. He quickly turned around and hit Zhang Huzi’s companion’s head with a punch called ‘Shaking ox horns’ in Crude Bull Boxing, and the companion fell to the ground, motionless without any groans.
